Due to its poor financial situation, Sevilla FC will be forced to sell several players from the first team this summer so that José Luis Mendilibar can bring the necessary reinforcements to its workforce.

Several prestigious names have been mentioned for a departure, including Youssef En-Nesyri and Yassine Bounou. The latter is almost certain to leave this summer, having lost the number one position to Marko Dmitrovic.

According to Footmercato, Paris Saint-Germain is one of the teams interested in bonoand has submitted a bid of €12m plus extras for the 32-year-old, who was key in Sevilla’s victory in the Europa League final against Roma last season on penalties.

It is unlikely that this offer will be accepted, as Sevilla FC would seek 20 million euros to sell their doorman. Considering his contract doesn’t expire until 2025, the Nervionenses don’t have to lower their price.

Bono has been a great servant for Sevilla since joining the club in 2019 but it definitely looks like he is coming to the end of his time in Andalucia. If it is towards the French capital that he is heading, PSG will have to revise his offer upwards.
