The 25-year-old is expected to leave Napoli on a permanent deal next summer, once his loan at Galatasaray ends, and several Premier League clubs are interested in his signature, as well as PSG.
Arsenal and Chelsea are set to battle for Osimhen’s signature in 2025, while Man Utd are also interested in the Nigerian’s arrival, with Ruben Amorim looking to sign a new central striker.
Viktor Gyokeres has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford next year, although he has insisted he remains happy at Sporting CP, despite interest from several top European clubs. As a result, Man Utd are also looking to sign Osimhen and have already submitted an offer for the 25-year-old, according to Turkish media outlet Fanatik.
However, Napoli are yet to accept Man Utd’s offer and reports indicate that Osimhen could only be allowed to leave the Serie A side on a permanent deal if his €75m release clause is fully paid.
What did Victor Osimhen say?
Reports have suggested that Osimhen could leave Galatasaray during the January transfer window, but the Nigeria international has refuted the claims.
“They’re talking about January. I am here until the end of the season,” Osimhen recently told Nexus Sports. “I don’t know what Galatasaray and Napoli are discussing after this… It’s a club that I really like. I am here as a Galatasaray player, I am happy here. Since I arrived, the fans of Galatasaray, the club, I have seen how this club is a big family. The way they treated me and my family in a wonderful way. »
“It’s important to be able to give them my best on the pitch. I’ve seen a lot of speculation about me leaving the club in January, I can say now that I’m going to be here until the end of the season. »
