Swede Viktor Gyökeres attracts attention with his 23 goals in 17 games this season for Sporting Portugal. After a resounding hat-trick against Manchester City in the Champions League, the 26-year-old striker has become the target of Europe’s biggest clubs.
Among them, Real Madrid, where Kylian Mbappé is struggling to establish himself, and PSG, which is seeking to strengthen its attack line.
The ideal profile for Real and PSG?
Jamie O’Hara, former English player, sees Gyökeres as the perfect profile to meet the expectations of a struggling Real Madrid.
“He could end up at Real Madrid. Mbappé is not doing the job expected, and Gyökeres could be an asset in attack,” he declares.
For their part, PSG are also evaluating the striker’s potential, but the decision could depend on coach Luis Enrique. With his physical qualities and his scoring instinct, Gyökeres recalls the effectiveness of Erling Haaland and could be the decisive reinforcement for one of the two teams from January.
