The 4th day of the Champions League continued this Wednesday with 9 new crucial matches. While yesterday, Monaco and Lille had achieved great operations, we expected a lot from the two other French clubs, Paris Saint-Germain and Stade Brestois 29. If the Ile-de-France residents disappointed by losing 2-1 against Atlético from Madrid and find themselves outside the first 24 with a disappointing 25th place, it’s quite the opposite for the Bretons.

Indeed, Brest won 2-1 against Sparta Prague and climbed to fourth place behind Liverpool, Sporting CP and Monaco. The top 5 is completed by Inter Milan. The Italian club took on Arsenal (12th) this evening and places itself in the first eight which will be directly qualified in the round of 16. Similar case for FC Barcelona which is now sixth after its 5-2 success against Red Star Belgrade.
