Will leave, will not leave? This is the question that hovers around the future of Alphonso Davies. While his contract expires next June, the Bayern Munich left-back has still not reached an agreement with his club to extend his lease.
The Canadian, who is particularly recognized for his offensive contribution, represents a real boon for many clubs. With an estimated value of 50 million euros per Transfermarktthe 23-year-old is attracting many suitors – notably Real Madrid, who are reportedly monitoring the situation closely, hoping to be able to sign him without a transfer fee.
Bayern does not clear the fog
In an interview given to the media Ran SportBayern sporting director Max Eberl was asked about Davies. However, his statements did little to dispel the uncertainties surrounding the Canucks star’s future.
“If Alphonso will extend? There are chances…”, he simply declared.
Since the start of the 2023-2024 season, Davies has started 11 times in 13 matches, already providing 3 assists under Vincent Kompany.
