It’s a dream Saturday for the Reds. Beating Brighton (2-1), Liverpool is the only team in the Top 3 to have won this Saturday afternoon. Because after Arsenal’s defeat at Newcastle, Manchester City also fell, at Bournemouth (2-1).

The Skyblues, who had not lost in 11 months in the Premier League, were surprised with goals from Semenyo (9th) and Evanilson (64th). Josko Gvardiol gave his team hope (82nd), but Erling Haaland, who found the post in added time, failed to equalize.

Man City ceded the lead to Liverpool, who managed to come out on top against Brighton (2-1). Trailing at the break, after Kadioglu’s opener (14th), and deprived of Ibrahima Konaté (left at the break due to an arm injury), the Reds turned the tide in a few minutes, with a direct cross from Cody Gakpo (69th) and a sumptuous goal from Mohamed Salah (72nd).

Liverpool therefore takes control of the ranking, and the other surprise of the day is the third place of Nottingham Forest, who smashed West Ham (3-0) and passed Arsenal.
