“He made me reach a level that I didn’t expect to reach, so early on. I expected to reach this level, but not in one year. He helped me get to this. Collectively, when you look at last season, we won the Coupe de France, Ligue 1, we reached the semi-final of the Champions League and you think it was a bad season? It was an incredible season. We arrived in the last four in C1, we didn’t get through for nothing. We have to see why we didn’t pass. »
Vitinha can’t “say anything bad” about Luis Enrique
For Vitinha, Luis Enrique’s merit is not limited to his work as a tactician: “I like that, I like things to be very clear. I identify a lot with his game ideas, tactically. On a human level, he is incredible.”
