Daniel Riolo, journalist for RMC Sport, expressed reservations about the current level of Bradley Barcola.

With 8 goals and an assist in 12 games this season, Bradley Barcola has established himself as Kylian Mbappé’s successor on the left flank of the Paris Saint-Germain attack. The French striker even scored a goal during the Classic against Olympique de Marseille (3-0 victory) this Sunday at the Vélodrome, confirming his leading position in the Ligue 1 scorers’ rankings.

However, this performance was not enough to convince Daniel Riolo. The RMC Sport journalist remains skeptical about the consistency of the former Olympique Lyonnais player.

Barcola is not a good player yet

For Riolo, the one he nicknamed “Bambi” since PSG’s defeat at Newcastle (4-1) in the Champions League last season, still has to prove himself.

“We are at 9 matches, with the Champions League that makes 12 matches. Bambi is improving, but for me, he didn’t have 50% good matches. A good player for me falls into this category at 70% good matches. And he’s not there yet”declared the editorialist of theAfter Football.
