While PSG is due to start its season this Friday, Gianluigi Donnarumma was the victim of a burglary at his Parisian home.

Returning to the club on Monday after almost a month of vacation, Gianluigi Donnarumma was already in the group summoned by Luis Enrique this Thursday for the first preparation match that PSG must play against Le Havre at the end of the afternoon. However, it is unlikely that the Italian goalkeeper will be in the game.

According to RMC, the former Milanese was indeed the victim of a burglary on the night of Thursday to Friday. His home in the 8th arrondissement would have been visited by several burglars who would have left with “significant” loot and would not have hesitated to tie up those present.

The Italian doorman was indeed with his partner at the time of the events. It is the staff of a nearby hotel who would have given the alert, the investigation having been entrusted to the Brigade for the repression of banditry (BRB).

Gianluigi Donnarumma is not the first PSG player to be robbed. Recently, Marquinhos and Angel Di Maria had been robbed while they were on the lawn of the Parc des Princes for a match against Nantes.
