In Mönchengladbach’s relatively mixed start to the season, Tim Kleindienst’s consistency remains an exception, but still not the norm. Scorer again against Mainz this Friday (1-1), the new German international once again confirmed his good form since August, while collectively, his team is still slipping.

Irregular since the first day, Gerardo Seoane’s players suffered another setback this evening, six days after having won against Heidenheim. Worse, they themselves handicapped themselves by conceding the opener on an own goal from Lainer (55th). In the ranking, Gladbach is therefore 9th. Mainz is 12th.
