Continuation and end of the 8th day of Serie A this Monday evening. The Hellas Verona club hosted AC Monza in Veneto, on the lawn of the Marcantonio-Bentegodi stadium. A match during which the locals showed great things in attack with nearly 20 attempted strikes but the Lombard visitors showed offensive realism and efficiency. Indeed, Alessandro Nesta’s players left with the victory (0-3) thanks to a double from Dany Mota (9th, 74th) and a goal from Alessandro Bianco (79th).

In the standings, Monza took valuable points despite a complicated start to the season and thus moved up to 16th place, while Hellas Verona no longer shined as during the first days of Serie A and therefore fell back to 13th position. Next weekend, the Brianzoli will welcome the promoted Venice to Lombardy, while the Gialloblu will travel to Bergamo to challenge Atalanta, during the 9th day of the Italian championship.
