The appointment of Thomas Tuchel as England coach from January 2025 makes one happy: Bayern Munich. The German club, which continued to pay his salary after his departure last May, will be able to save around 3 million euros.

With this new role at the head of the Three Lions, Tuchel ends his contract with Bayern, allowing the club to make significant savings. If some of his assistants remain in Munich, the departure of Anthony Barry as assistant to England will also reduce the Bavarian bill by an additional 500,000 euros.
Tuchel will now receive a salary of 5 to 6 million euros annually until the 2026 World Cup with the England team.
