Former Manchester United player Paul Pogba has admitted he would have been open to the idea of moving to arch-rivals Manchester City.
Pogba was announced for the City side when he was still a United player in 2020 and 2021. The Sky Blues considered signing him, as they wanted a quality midfielder to replace their departing captain Fernandinho .
Pogba does not close any doors
“Honestly, I had a lot of problems,” Juventus midfielder Pogba said in an interview with the Daily Mail. “I had a burglary, I had an extortion problem. I had to leave Manchester. If I hadn’t had these problems I might have gone to City. »
“But with an ‘if’, we can remake the world, because I had no intention of staying in Manchester. But it wasn’t a closed door because I left United for free.”added the French star.
