Manchester United are looking to part ways with Antony during the January transfer window, either on loan or through a permanent sale.

Antony has regularly been criticized for his terrible performances in a United shirt. Although he had many chances under manager Erik ten Hag, he never managed to perform and is considered one of the worst signings in the club’s history.

Signed for a staggering €103.2 million from Ajax in the summer of 2022, Antony’s performances have failed to meet expectations, and the club are now prepared to listen to offers of around 48 million euros as it seeks to cut its losses, according to the Daily Mail.

A considerable amount

The report also mentions that United are also considering taking Antony on loan in hopes of increasing his value ahead of the summer 2025 window.

In total, Antony played 86 matches for the club, scoring just 12 goals and providing five assists. He has made just four appearances and started just one match in the Premier League this season.
