Haaland’s Norway takes on water in Austria

Norway suffered a huge slap in the face this Sunday evening in Austria, as part of the Nations League (5-1).

In Linz, the local selection went all out, although worried at the start of the match by the inevitable Haaland, and for a time joined in the score when Sorloth struck (39e).

Previously, Arnautovic had opened the scoring early (8e) – the same Arnautovic who from the penalty spot gave his team the advantage after the break (49e).

Lienhart (49e), Posch (62e) and Gregoritsch (71e) finally added to the score against the Norwegians who appeared totally demobilized in the second half.

The result (5-1) is not trivial at the finish since it allows Austria to take control of its League B group, in the same unit as Norway and Slovenia which earlier in the day got the better of Kazakhstan (0-1).
