For many seasons, FC Barcelona has been in great financial difficulty. In debt following expensive transfers which led to nothing and too high salaries that the Catalan club could not afford, Barça has gone through complicated transfer windows recently. Looking for financial levers to get out of the crisis, it seems that the Blaugrana staff found a new one this Friday. Indeed, according to information from Relevothe return of FC Barcelona to Camp Nou could allow the Spanish team to pocket 28 million euros.

This is reflected in the club’s budget for the 2024-25 financial year, with ticket revenue reportedly amounting to €154 million, compared to €126 million last year at the Montjuic Olympic Stadium. The return to Spotify Camp Nou will also allow the club to reduce losses of more than 100 million linked to the operation of the new stadium, but also to increase revenues from sponsors, who prefer to associate their brand with this new setting. Barça will therefore replenish the coffers quickly while the return to Camp Nou is planned by the end of the year.
