The ranking of European top scorers

This Monday is already the fourth assessment of the season in the ranking of European top scorers. We find the scorers who shook the nets in Germany, England, Austria, Belgium, Scotland, Spain, France, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine. And a change should be noted since the Norwegian, Erling Haaland, is no longer at the top of this ranking. Mute against Newcastle (1-1), the Manchester City striker remains stuck with his 10 goals in 6 matches.

Now in the lead, Viktor Gyökeres is ahead of all the competition. Against Casa Pia (2-0), he found his way to the goals thanks to a penalty scored at the end of the match. Just behind Gyökeres and Haaland, Robert Lewandowski takes third place in this top scorers after his excellent performance at Alavés, where he scored a hat-trick (3-0) and has a record of 10 goals in 9 matches.

Marcus Thuram and Mateo Retegui enter the top

Behind them, Omar Marmoush is right on the podium after his nice double against Bayern Munich, which allowed Eintracht Frankfurt to avoid defeat in the final moments (3-3). Thanks to a nice hat-trick before the international break against Torino (3-2), Marcus Thuram then took 7th place in the top scorers following, also, a total of 7 goals scored in 7 days and 552 minutes played . He passes Ciro Immobile, scorer this weekend with Besiktas for his 7th goal of the season in as many matches as well. Behind, Oleksandr Nazarenko is out of the top 5 with 7 goals in 8 matches. The Polissya Zhytomyr winger is gradually moving down the rankings and is placed just ahead of the Dutchman Sam Steijn, scorer in Twente’s defeat at Feyenoord.

Compared to the last ranking, Bradley Barcola (PSG), Aleksey Batrakov (Lokomotiv Moscow), Cole Palmer (Chelsea) and Ayoze Pérez (Villarreal) fell out of the ranking. Mika Biereth (Sturm Graz), Jhon Córdoba (Krasnodar), and Thierno Barry (Villarreal) are close to entering the top 10.
