Cesc Fàbregas’ Como team continues its impressive momentum. On the 10th day of Serie A, the Lombards hosted Venice at the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia, with the ambition of extending a series of four consecutive victories in all competitions, including a big success (4-1) against Manchester United in the Champions League. For this meeting, the Spanish technician had established the French international Lucas Da Cunha on the right wing, alongside Nico Paz, the team’s true playing master, in support of Douvikas. The other Frenchman, Jean Butez, kept the goals. Opposite, Davide Nicola had opted for a three-way defense, accompanied by two pistons and two attackers.

The first half was closely fought for a long time, but Como ended up making the difference just before the break. In the 43rd minute, Lucas Da Cunha converted a penalty and scored the only goal of the game, giving his team a precious victory (1-0). The French international, who could appear in Zinédine Zidane’s next list, expected next Friday, was the hero of the afternoon. Thanks to this success, Como extends its winning streak and temporarily climbs to fourth place in the Serie A standings.
