Rodri as Flick’s trump card for the Clásico

Hansi Flick appears to have already identified one of his main weapons for the Clasico according to Sport : Rodri. The Spanish midfielder did not start against PSG, and Flick admitted that he had preserved him by thinking directly of Real Madrid. Arriving this summer for around 60 million euros, Rodri immediately established himself as an essential element of the Blaugrana balance. His ability to calm the game, manage weak times and free Pedri gives Barça something that it didn’t necessarily have last season. The symbol is all the stronger as Real also tried to recruit him this summer. On Sunday, Rodri could therefore become one of Barça’s main weapons against the club which wanted him a few months earlier.

Manchester United locker room on the verge of implosion

Carrick’s days are beginning to be numbered on the Manchester United bench. His own captain, Bruno Fernandes, publicly criticized him after the heavy 4-1 defeat against Como, particularly regarding pressing and tactical organization. Carrick responded to him at a press conference by reminding that no system could work if the players did not run enough. The Manchester United locker room is therefore seriously starting to crack around its coach. And for the Daily Mailthe problem is even much deeper: the position of manager of the Red Devils would simply have become a trap capable of crushing the coaches who accept it.

Kolo Muani still can’t do it with Juventus

During the 2-goal draw between Rennes and Juventus, Randal Kolo Muani received the score of three by The Team and that of five by the Gazzetta dello Sport. It is described as “clumsy, borrowed and messy”. Associated with Nick Woltemade to try to revive him, Kolo Muani still had a lot of difficulty in making his impact, while the German continued to be decisive. The pressure is therefore seriously starting to build around the former Parisian.
