For the Real Madrid reception this Sunday evening, Hansi Flick must deal with several absentees.

Beaten for the first time this season on Tuesday against PSG (4-2), after having had eleven victories in a row (all competitions combined), FC Barcelona hosts Real Madrid at its Camp Nou this Sunday (9 p.m.) in La Liga. And for this first Clasico of the season, Hansi Flick is forced to innovate.

Already deprived of Eric Garcia, Jules Koundé, Andreas Christensen and Roony Bardghji, all injured, the Barcelona coach recorded a new injury this week in Paris. Affected in the adductors, Dani Olmo is also out for the reception of the Merengue.

Orian Goren, the new nugget of the Masia

To replace the 2026 world champion in the group, Hansi Flick called up young Orian Goren for the very first time. This 17-year-old Israeli midfielder is considered one of La Masia’s most promising players. He would even be seen as Pedri’s successor.

Since Wednesday, Orian Goren has been training with the first team, with whom he has never played any official match.
“His main asset lies in his intuition and his ability to make himself available”explains Mundo Deportivo about him. If this great first in the group is a mark of confidence from Flick in his young talent, the latter has very little chance of playing this Clasico.
