In an interview given to the Argentinian daily The NationEnzo Fernández looked back at the players who made an impact on him during his time at Chelsea. Among them, N’Golo Kanté occupies a special place. The Argentine midfielder particularly praised the humility of the French international, whom he considers to be an exceptional player, but also as a personality who leaves a lasting impression on those who meet him.
“N’Golo is one of those people who stands out for their humility, in addition to being an exceptional player”confided Fernández. Now focused on new goals, the Argentinian explains that he sought to learn from his former London teammates, each of whom brought him something different. The 2022 world champion thus has particularly positive memories of Kanté, whose discretion and state of mind visibly counted in his experience at Chelsea.
