The Premier League resumed its rights this weekend, with a snatched victory for Arsenal against Leeds (2-1). Later in the day the multiplex of the 6th day took place, in which the Blues put on a show against Bournemouth. In less than five minutes, Jordan Henderson and Morgan Rogers allowed Chelsea to take the lead (2-0, 2nd and 3rd), before João Pedro scored twice in the second half (4-1, 46th and 67th). Henderson also scored a second goal to increase the score and allow Chelsea to move up to 5th place. For their part, the Cherries collapsed and still did not win this season.

In the other matches of the afternoon, Brighton continued its good start to the season by beating Sunderland to get on the podium (2-0). On the other hand, Aston Villa thought they would move away from the bottom of the table with a snatched victory against Brentford, but despite McGinn’s goal at the end of the match (2-1, 78th), the Villans conceded Ajer’s equalizer (2-2, 80th). Finally, Fulham came close to securing their first win of the season against Ipswich, but the Cottagers completely collapsed late in the match. Arbeloa’s men conceded two goals from Ouattara and O’Shea in the final moments (2-1, 89th and 90th+1) and remain 19th in the Premier League.
