A tense clash between two powerless Premier League juggernauts. Twelfth in the standings, the Red Devils remain in three matches without a victory in all competitions and have only one victory in the league since the start of the season. Spurs, bottom of the English elite, have not won a single match in the Premier League this season and have only one small success against Charlton in the EFL Cup. Who, Michael Carrick or Roberto de Zerbi, both called into question on their respective benches, will find the recipe to raise the head of their team? The meeting can be followed live with commentary on French Football Weekly from 6:30 p.m.
For this match, Michael Carrick is without De Ligt, Heaton, Mazraoui, Dorgu, Ugarte and Sesko. The English technician therefore aligns a 4-2-3-1 with Lammens in goal and a Yoro, Maguire, Martinez, Shaw defense. Baleba and Tielemans are lined up in front of the defense while Amad, Bruno Fernandes and Mbeumo support Cunha, alone at the forefront. Opposite, Roberto De Zerbi cannot count on Kulusevski, Mudryk, Odobert, Porro and Simons, all injured. The Italian therefore lines up a 4-2-3-1 with Kinsky in the cages and a rearguard Gray, Senesi, Van Hecke, Udogie. Tonali and Bergvall are accompanied by Gallagher in midfield while Kudus and Savio play on the wings. Finally, Solanke starts at the forefront of the attack.
