Bayern Munich was unable to dominate Augsburg this Saturday as part of the 5th day of the Bundesliga (2-2). And for good reason.

Bayern shot themselves in the foot this Saturday during the 5e lifting of the Bundesliga. On the Augsburg pitch in a potentially unbalanced Bavarian derby, the Munich team failed from the first minute of play.

Worse, they gave in from the 6e second, conceding the fastest goal in the history of the German elite. It was Manuel Neuer’s fault and a missed restart from which Robin Fellhauer did not fail to take advantage.

Dortmund remains leader

It was finally on the score of 2-2 that the two teams parted, Ismael Saibari and Nathaniel Brown having allowed Bayern to limit the damage by coming back to the score twice, at 55e and 80e minutes and on two offerings from Harry Kane.

Michael Olise’s teammates therefore did not take advantage of Dortmund’s draw the day before against Werder Bremen (2-2) to regain control of the championship, still relegated this weekend to two BvB units.
