Vinicius Junior’s rating continues to plummet on the transfer market. According to the latest update of the estimates of Transfermarktthe Real Madrid winger is now valued at 130 million euros, compared to 200 million in October 2024. A drop of 70 million euros in just two years for the man who then shared with Erling Haaland the status of the most expensive player in the world. However, the Brazilian’s statistics remain impressive: after scoring 22 goals and providing 19 assists during the 2024-2025 season, he further improved his record with 33 goals and 14 assists in 2025-2026. This decline could therefore be explained less by his offensive production than by the collective performances of Real Madrid, his disappointing performances with the Brazilian selection and a less favorable perception of his current level compared to his best years.

This devaluation contrasts with the progress of several young Madrid players. Yan Diomande notably achieved the largest increase in this update in La Liga, going from 90 to 120 million euros, despite less than 300 minutes played and only two starts with Real Madrid. Arda Güler also saw its rating increase by 10 million to reach 100 million euros. Vinicius nevertheless remains the third most valuable player in the Madrid squad, behind Kylian Mbappé (€200 million) and Jude Bellingham (€160 million). On the scale of the Spanish championship, it is still Lamine Yamal who dominates the ranking with an estimate of 220 million euros, while Real Madrid retains five representatives among the ten most expensive players in La Liga.
