Determined to convince Michael Olise to extend his contract in Bavaria, Bayern Munich is ready to deviate from its principles.

Author of a remarkable sequence with the France team, with no less than four goals and two assists in the four matches played with the Blues, Michael Olise continues to gain height in the Bayern Munich jersey. Arriving in Bavaria with the label of a great talent with great potential, the former Crystal Palace winger established himself as one of the essential cogs in the Munich attack. A meteoric rise which forces its leaders to react quickly to secure its future.

But to convince its French international to sign up for the long term, the German giant is preparing to make a historic concession: include a release clause in its lease. Until then, the Bavarian institution had always firmly opposed the integration of departure clauses into the contracts of its executives. Giving in on this point therefore constitutes an extremely rare privilege granted to the player.

According to information revealed by BildBayern would be ready to compromise with their rigid principles by setting this amount at 200 million euros. This astronomical sum allows the club to keep control of the market while offering Olise the guarantee of not finding himself blocked if a European giant were to make a record offer.

A new contract with a huge salary increase

The objective of the Munich leaders is clear: lock the Habs in the very long term, with a contract that could extend until 2032 accompanied by a significant salary increase. Currently paid around 14 million euros per year, Olise would see his emoluments approach the top of the club’s salary scale, trusted by Harry Kane and his 25 million euros annually.

This strategic maneuver comes as the continent’s big names are sharpening their weapons. Clubs like Real Madrid and Liverpool are closely following the evolution of the French international’s situation with a view to the next transfer windows.

Faced with this growing threat and the weight gained by the player on and off the field, the Bavarian management wants to avoid at all costs that the negotiations get bogged down. Accepting such a compromise demonstrates the exceptional value that Bayern now places on its number 14 and its fierce desire to make it the central pillar of its sporting project for the next decade.
