Canal+ journalist Bertrand Latour announced Ousmane Dembélé’s ranking for the next Ballon d’Or.

Ballon d’Or 2025, can Ousmane Dembélé repeat the feat in 2026? More than ever, the race for the supreme individual reward is extremely open, with several contenders who are not unanimous but who have arguments to put forward. And the PSG striker is clearly one of them.

While the votes of 100 international journalists were officially closed on September 28, speculation is rife. For Bertrand Latour, “Dembouz” will be in the Top 5.

“He is a player who is one of the 4-5 best players in the world. He is Ballon d’Or, he will be in the 4-5 again in a while in London”launched the Canal+ journalist, who defended the former Barcelona player, much criticized after his disappointing rally with the Blues.

Latour on criticism of Dembélé: ‘I think these people are crazy’

“He was not good, he is one of the players who performed worst on the pitch, I saw the same match, added Bertrand Latour. But here, the debates are almost to know if he deserves to be in the 23… I think these people are crazy. He had a bad rally, there’s no problem, I’ve already said it. Fortunately, coaches have a little more memory than those who suffer a little amnesia…”

As a reminder, the complete ranking of the Ballon d’Or and Ousmane Dembélé’s successor will be revealed on October 26, during a ceremony organized by France Football at the Palladium Theater in London.
