Jorge Jesus’ response was eagerly awaited, it came this Wednesday. The day after the resounding press release from “CR7”, which revealed behind the scenes of his departure from the selection in the middle of a rally, the Portuguese technician spoke in the local media.
And the former Al-Nassr coach did not want to add fuel to the fire. “I read the press release. And now I’m going to do what I do every day: I’m going to work at the Federation, think about the team and the Portuguese selection. I have nothing else to add”he soberly indicated.
Jorge Jesus kicks into touch
Jorge Jesus thus offers himself a little respite. At least until the announcement of its next list for the November window, which will see the Seleçao challenge Denmark and Wales. Will the five-time Ballon d’Or winner (41 years old), who has not confirmed his international retirement, be recalled?
