Arsenal close to extending Declan Rice

New extension in sight for Arsenal. After announcing the extension of coach Mikel Arteta’s lease today, the north London club is trying to secure a new central element of its project. As revealed the BBCDeclan Rice is set to extend his contract.

While he is contracted until June 2028, the 27-year-old midfielder is in full negotiations to sign a new lease and an agreement is said to be close. Arsenal look set to make a financial push by increasing him from £240,000 to £350,000 per week. Emoluments close to those received by Bukayo Saka.
