PSG is entering the home stretch regarding the choice of its future stadium. While the club had announced that it wanted to make a decision in the fall of 2026, the next steering committees planned in Poissy on October 13 and in Massy on October 16 should make it possible to refine the various files. The Parc des Princes has also returned fully to the race since the election of Emmanuel Grégoire as mayor of Paris, and Parisian management would now like to move forward quickly, with a decision which could come at the end of October or the beginning of November, according to The Team.

All three options still have advantages and constraints. In Poissy, the main issue concerns in particular the infrastructure and transport necessary around a new enclosure, while Massy faces questions about local support for the project. In Paris, discussions with the town hall have progressed and PSG is particularly studying the possibility of transforming the Park into an enclosure with 60,000 to 70,000 seats, with different developments around the stadium. The overall cost of the project, whether it is a renovation of the Park or the construction of a new stadium, will obviously be one of the major parameters when deciding. To be continued…
