Work at the Camp Nou is still progressing, despite now less sustained pace. In an exclusive tour published by Mundo Deportivothe Spanish media was able to discover the progress of the site, with around 1,500 workers still mobilized. The roof is getting closer to being finalized: only one piece is missing to complete the compression ring that will support it. Thus, the stadium must return to its full capacity of 104,600 seats in 2028.
VIP areas are also experiencing significant progress. Mundo Deportivo also indicates that four rows of VIP seats will be available from Sunday for the Women’s Clásico, while the opening of the double ring of side boxes is scheduled for March 2027. The third level is also starting to accommodate its first seats, with a layout designed to display the Barça crest in the stands.
