Manchester United could lose one of their biggest hopes. At just 15 years old, JJ Gabriel asked to leave the club, a decision reportedly partly driven by his family’s ambitions for his development. According to the Daily Mailthose close to the young striker believe that the Red Devils are today too far from the level of the major European references to allow him to progress as they wish. Gabriel, who has played for Manchester United since he was 11 and is considered one of the most promising young talents on the continent, has not been seen in training since this request.
Indeed, the player’s family would especially like him to be able to “learn from the best” and evolve alongside the best players in order to fully exploit their potential. A vision which explains the discussions already initiated with FC Barcelona, while Real Madrid has been working on the file for several months. The Mancunian club, whose current contract runs until the end of the season, is currently refusing to release him.
