Many considered the outcome of this OM – PSG for granted, but the European champions had to fight to win the three points on the Vélodrome pitch (1-2). A surprise? Not really for Luis Enrique, who expected a difficult meeting in Marseille. At the microphone of Ligue1+the Parisian coach underlined the quality of his opponent.
“What I said to the players at the break? Nothing special to say, I think we won with a lot of difficulty, everyone said it was easy, but playing at the Vélodrome is not easy. The opponent did some very good things in the first half, we had fewer chances. In the second half, everything changed, and we had a very good second period (…) We saw a very good OM, they defended well, they have a very good coach, I am sure they will improve (their results)”. In the meantime, OM are 17th in Ligue 1 this evening.
