Harry Kane and Bayern Munich are moving forward in discussions to extend their collaboration beyond June 2027. According to Bilda second series of negotiations was held last weekend, in the presence of members of the English striker’s entourage. Both parties would consider at least two more years, until 2029, but Kane would also be open to a longer contract. At 33, the striker particularly wants to stay at the highest level until Euro 2028 and also keeps the 2030 World Cup in the back of his mind.
Salary will be one of the main issues to be resolved. Kane currently receives around €25 million per season and could retain similar emoluments with a two-year extension. On the other hand, a longer commitment could be accompanied by a reduction in his annual salary, while the integration of a release clause is also mentioned. Despite interest lent to Real Madrid, English or Saudi clubs, no negotiations have been initiated with another team. Arriving from Tottenham in 2023, Kane has 150 goals and 34 assists in 153 games with Bayern, including 61 goals last season. His priority would now remain to win the Champions League with the Bavarian club.
