At the end of a crazy match, Real Madrid won against Elche (2-3), thanks to a goal in the last minutes from young Espi. Mbappé also scored.

Real Madrid were very scared. After leading 0-2 on the Elche pitch, thanks to a superb goal from a free kick from Arda Güler, finally awarded to the opposing goalkeeper, and a new achievement from Kylian Mbappé – his 7e goal in La Liga this season -, the Merengue have scuttled themselves.

Not particularly flamboyant and not particularly in danger, the Madrilenians let the locals get back into the match in the second half. Abiel Osorio (71st) first reduced the score, before de Fer Nino equalized after very good work from Frenchman Thomas Lemar (83rd).

At the end of the match which could have gone one way or the other, it was ultimately the White House which had the last word. Returning in the 85th minute in place of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Espi played the hero by scoring the winning goal (91st) on a service from Kylian Mbappé.

Note the great performance of Yan Diomandé, established by José Mourinho. Very restless, the 19-year-old Ivorian winger, purchased for 140 million euros this summer, was rewarded with an assist on Kylian Mbappé’s goal. Aurélien Tchouameni also started the game, delivering a copy without too much relief.
