The late official position of the FFF and its president Philippe Diallo on the Gianni Infantino case has not improved opinions on the boss of French football.

While certain information distilled in recent days by the press explained that Philippe Diallo had been asked by the Presidency of the Republic to display his position more clearly, in particular to follow the direction taken in this matter by UEFA, Dominique Sévérac concluded his remarks by returning to the announced fight for the presidency of FIFA between Gianni Infantino, for the moment the only declared candidate, and his (his?) possible opponents.

“You shouldn’t discover yourself too early against Infantino. He still has a part of Africa with him. If there is a candidate coming out now, you have to be solid. Kevin Lamour (…) showed courage, but is he strong enough to take on a virulent campaign? Because Infantino is going to go. »
