Karim Adeyemi offered a real gem to FC Barcelona this Sunday during the victory against Levante (4-2). Coming into play in the 67th minute in place of Anthony Gordon, the German international waited until added time to show all his speed. In the 93rd minute, the winger collected the ball at the halfway line before heading towards goal alone. Launched at full speed, he outplayed three defenders during an impressive solo raid before finishing the action himself to score Barcelona’s fourth goal.
Arriving this summer from Borussia Dortmund, Adeyemi is already demonstrating one of the qualities that pushed Barça to bet on him: his ability to change a match thanks to his acceleration and his deep shots. At the end of the match where Levante could still hope to come back, the German definitively sealed the Catalan victory in an action built entirely alone.
