AC Milan can thank Diego Moreira this Saturday, during the 4th day of Serie A. A week after the draw conceded against Juve (1-1), the Milanese snatched the draw in Rome (2-2). Opposed to Lazio, Ruben Amorim’s men – too soft in attack and often caught behind by the locals’ transitional play – nevertheless started in the worst way. While Cancellieri opened the scoring in the 10th minute of play, Maignan denied Zaccagni’s break (21st) but finally had to give in to the opportunist Noslin (39th).
Trailing by two goals at the break, the Rossoneri finally regained their splendor after returning from the locker room, and in particular after the entry into play of their new recruit, Diego Moreira, author of a double after the hour of play thanks to two beautiful strikes.
