Crystal Palace is going through a particularly complicated start to the season under the orders of Pierre Sage. After his notable stint at RC Lens last season, the French technician is still struggling to launch his adventure in England, with only three points taken out of twelve possible. Beaten this Saturday at home by Ipswich (2-3), the Eagles were also reduced to ten after the expulsion of Axel Disasi at the start of the match. Despite this new setback, Sage believes that the content displayed does not fully reflect the accounting situation of its team.

“I have a lot of hope in what we do and in what we produce, and it’s important to remember it to use it as fuel for our future performances. We must also be aware that we need to take points. Here, we are lagging behind and we will absolutely have to get back on track. The situation is not up to what we delivered today. I think we deserved better, especially given our control of the match”explained the coach on the microphone of Canal+ after the meeting.
