The third day of the Bundesliga has already allowed several teams to shine. Borussia Dortmund continues its flawless performance. Opposing promoted Paderborn, BVB scored a third victory in three days (3-0), with goals from Fabio Silva and a double from Felix Nmecha.
Freiburg also hit hard. At home, the German club made short work of Gladbach by winning largely (5-0). Engelhardt scored twice (23rd, 79th), as did Matanovic (29th, 77th), before Eggestein completed the success in the final minutes (86th). A victory which temporarily allows Friborg to take control of the championship.
Leverkusen avoids the worst, Frankfurt hits hard
Leverkusen, for its part, was hung on its lawn by Augsburg (2-2). Kofane quickly put the visitors in front (18th), but Gregoritsch reversed the situation in the space of five minutes with two goals (50th, 55th). Schick finally avoided defeat for Bayer by equalizing in the 89th minute.
Frankfurt also performed well by winning against Mainz (1-3). Üzün scored twice (9th, 60th), while Burkardt allowed the locals to reduce the gap just before the break (45+1st). Finally, Hoffenheim took the upper hand over Stuttgart (2-1), carried by a double from Adam Hlozek (13th, 67th).
