Bayern Munich can still thank Harry Kane and Michael Olise. During the demonstration against Bodø/Glimt in the Champions League (5-0), the two men once again carried the Bavarian attack. Kane finished the match with a goal and an assist, while Olise scored a brace and an assist. A new XXL performance which allows Bayern to occupy second place in the competition and confirms that its attacking duo has resumed this season on the same bases as during the previous year. Above all, their effectiveness is not limited to the championship since the two players are also present on the biggest European stage.
The figures for the whole of 2026 illustrate their domination. Harry Kane has a total of 39 decisive contributions in the five major European championships, with 34 goals and 5 assists, while Michael Olise has 32, thanks to 15 goals and above all 17 assists. No other player from the five major championships has done better over this period. Already essential in Bayern’s performances in the Bundesliga, the Englishman and the Frenchman now demonstrate that they can reproduce this efficiency in the Champions League, with the ambition of taking the Bavarian club very far in the competition.
