Commenting on the Champions League match between Lille and Betis Sevilla this Tuesday evening, Paul Tchoukriel announced the absence of one of his colleagues on Canal+.

Exclusive broadcaster of the Champions League in France until 2031, Canal+ started this new campaign for the most prestigious European cup with a poster between Lille and Betis Sevilla (2-3), this Tuesday evening. A meeting which should have been commented on by the François Marchal-Christophe Jallet duo.

Finally, subscribers of the encrypted channel followed the defeat of Losc (2-3) in the company of Christophe Jallet, as expected, and Paul Tchoukriel. The latter replaced François Marchal, and for good reason…

During the live broadcast, Paul Tchoukriel announced that his colleague François Marchal was injured. This explains his absence from comments on the Champions League this week, but also on the Premier League on Canal+.

Double dose for Paul Tchoukriel

Paul Tchoukriel will also be on commentary this Wednesday evening (9 p.m.). On the occasion of Paris Saint-Germain’s entry into C1, at the Parc des Princes, against the Slovaks from Slovan Bratislava. The 35-year-old journalist will be accompanied by Sydney Govou.

Finally, the third French team involved in this Champions League campaign, RC Lens, will be commented on by Stéphane Guy and Aline Riera. For their return to C1, the Sang et Or travel this Thursday (9 p.m.) to the field of Slavia Prague.
