Walid Regragui officially began his story with Canal+. The man who left his post as Morocco coach last March made his big debut in the Canal Football Club this Sunday. The opportunity for the 50-year-old coach to look back on the CAN 2025 final, but also to talk about his future.

Then, Walid Regragui looked back on his summer, during which he was approached by several clubs, including Paris FC. A project that interested him, but the Ile-de-France decision-makers finally opted for the former Strasbourg coach, Liam Rosenior.
“I had approaches this summer, notably Paris FC. Being from the Paris region and seeing the project, it could have interested me. What if it was them or me who refused? Rather them (laughs)”confided Regragui, before confirming having been called by several Ligue 1 teams: “There were other approaches in Ligue 1, but which interested me less. »
