Winner of the last two editions of the Champions League, Paris Saint-Germain is preparing to put its title back on the line. Wednesday evening, Luis Enrique’s men will begin their campaign with the reception of Slovan Bratislava. Before this first meeting, the statistician Opta revealed his predictions. Thus, PSG should finish in seventh place in the league phase and would be the fifth club with the most chance of winning the C1 according to the statistician, with a 7.09% chance of lifting the trophy.

For Optathe main favorites are Arsenal (20.88%), Bayern Munich (19.37%), also favorites to finish at the top of the league phase, but also Manchester City (12.28%) and FC Barcelona (8.16%). For other French clubs, Lille would place 24th in the league stage, finishing just ahead of Lens (25th). The Mastiffs and the Sang et Or have a little less than a 50% chance of seeing their European adventure continue after said league phase.
