The third day of the Italian championship ends this Sunday. Before the evening clash between Juventus and AC Milan, three matches were played. The opportunity in particular to see the three promoted players who arrived this season in Serie A play. Two faced each other and it was Frosinone who beat Venice (3-2). For its part, Monza went to save a point on the ground of Parma (1-1).
For Frosinone, the heatstroke was real. Dominant and in front thanks to Antonio Raimondo’s double (21st and 39th), the locals saw their opponents return to the match in the second half and then equalize a quarter of an hour from the end of regulation time. But thanks to a final push and the liberating goal from Giorgi Kvernadze, Frosinone finally won.
Second success in three matches for the Canarini who occupy a good seventh place, while Venice and its three defeats in as many matches are eighteenth, in the red zone. The third promoted, Monza, thought they had their first victory since their return to the elite, but despite Jay Robinson’s opener (38th), the visitors were finally caught up on the hour mark after the Parmesan goal by Simone Lontani (60th).
Bologna led twice before snatching a draw
No winner and Monza finds itself seventeenth with one point, while Parma (16th) does little better with the same total, but a better goal difference.
In the last meeting of the afternoon, Bologna also shared the points with Sassuolo (2-2). The Rossoblu fell behind twice, managing to come back each time, including the last time in stoppage time in the second half. They are fifteenth, Sassuolo tenth.
