Fabio Grosso is no longer the coach of Fiorentina. After several hours of reflection, the Florentine management finally decided to put an end to the adventure of the Italian technician, whose record after three days of Serie A had become impossible to defend. According to our information, the Viola will now focus on three profiles to succeed it. Igor Tudor and Raffaele Palladino were already present in the club’s thoughts as we revealed to you earlier on Sunday, but a third name has now been added to the battle, that of Thiago Motta. The former Juventus coach thus appears to be a serious option to take over a squad built at great expense this summer and try to quickly revive a team currently at the bottom of the championship.

The meeting scheduled for the start of the week will be particularly important for the management of Fiorentina, who will have to definitively decide between these three avenues. Raffaele Palladino has the advantage of knowing the house and its environment perfectly, while Igor Tudor presents the profile of an experienced technician, accustomed to high pressure contexts and the demands of Serie A. Thiago Motta represents a different alternative with a coach whose name remains particularly followed on the Italian market. According to our information, these three applications will now be studied more concretely during this meeting, with the aim of quickly choosing Grosso’s successor and breathing new life into a project which has already experienced a serious setback.
