Ligue 2: The Greens received five out of five

The 5th day of Ligue 2 saw ASSE get the better of Montpellier this Saturday evening (3-1).

And five! Five victories in five days of Ligue 2 for AS Saint-Etienne, victorious this Saturday in their MHSC Cauldron.

Thanks to Bernauer, Boakye and Duffus – when Meddah equalized time for the Montpellier residents – the Stéphanois won with a score of 3-1 in front of their home crowd.

A result which allows the Greens to consolidate their leadership with five lengths ahead of Annecy – six over Stade de Reims and FC Metz who earlier in the day respectively drew with Guingamp (2-2) and outclassed Rodez (4-1).

Thus beaten for the first time this season, after two draws and two wins, the Pailladins are fifth, seven points from the top.
