FC Barcelona has exceeded the billion euro mark in revenue over a season for the first time in its history. According to Sportthe Catalan club will present its financial results during its General Assembly, scheduled for September 19. Barça also continues a third consecutive year with a positive result, an improvement notably favored by its return to Spotify Camp Nou and the resumption of operation of its stadium. The socio delegates will be called upon to approve the accounts for the last financial year as well as the budget for the 2026-2027 season. They will also have to decide on an extension of the credit intended to finance Espai Barça and the work on the new Camp Nou.
This assembly will also serve to ratify Rafael Yuste, Josep Cubells, Alfons Castro, Josep Ignasi Macià, Àngel Riudalbas, Joan Solé and Sisco Pujol, who had not resigned from office to participate in the last elections. Joan Laporta and his candidacy won the vote on March 15, before the new management took office on July 1. Usually organized at the end of October, the assembly was this time brought forward to September 19 in order to avoid two close meetings and the associated additional costs. It will also take place remotely, as vice-president Elena Fort explained: “ We decided to maintain the telematic format to guarantee maximum participation from members. » A question-and-answer time will also be planned to allow delegate members to question management.
