Real Madrid: José Mourinho reveals why he did not want to recruit Rodri

A few days after the formalization of his arrival at FC Barcelona for 60 million euros, accompanied by several bonuses estimated at 16.5 million euros towards Manchester City, Rodri took a new step. The Spanish midfielder, who is committed until 2030, is now officially registered with La Liga as a player for the Blaugrana club.

An essential formality which allows his new team to immediately be able to count on him in the championship. Rodri is therefore eligible to play the first day of La Liga on the Elche pitch, this Sunday (9:30 p.m.). Unless his coach chooses otherwise, the new Barcelona recruit will be able to take his first official steps under his new colors this weekend.
