On the eve of the trip against Valencia (4:15 p.m.), the absence of Lamine Yamal during FC Barcelona’s last collective training session had raised some questions. According to Sportthe Spanish winger had not trained with the rest of his teammates at the start of the session. Present at a press conference this Saturday, Hansi Flick finally explained that his player had received a blow and that the staff had preferred not to take any risks with their 19-year-old winger.
“He took a knock and it was better for him to train at a slower pace, but he is in perfect shape for tomorrow”reassured the German coach. Lamine Yamal trained separately and later in the day: “he went to practice later. He will be in good shape for tomorrow”he assured. Barring any further setbacks, the Spaniard will therefore be available to face Valencia this Sunday.
